    Due to the unique Style and ambiance of The Kingpin we are frequently used as a location for various "Hollywood South" movies.

    Most recently, The Kingpin was featured in The local 504 which is in post-production and due out in limited release in the Fall of 2012. The highly anticipated "Maggie and the Luchador" is currently being filmed but a release date has not been determined.

New Orleans Shuffleboard League

The New Orleans Shuffleboard League New Orleans Shuffleboard is a city wide league of teams playing on Tuesdays. Play is on shuffleboards Uptown, Mid-city, and Bywater.
New Orleans Shuffleboard League is always looking for new players.
Check out the teams and see if any are in need of players. We are hoping to have at least two teams for each bar with a shuffleboard table. Where you live in the city might determine which team you might want to join or at which bar you want to form a team. Teams are between 5 and 8 players.
You can contact the league at New Orleans Shuffle Board or just stop by the Kingpin on any Monday night around 9pm for practice - regular league play is on Tuesday at 8pm at various venues around the city.

Midway Pizza
Eat Pizza!!

Midway Pizza Located in the Freret Corridor between Napoleon and Jefferson at 4725 Freret Street, Midway Pizza is the sister to The Kingpin. "September 1, 2011, marked the season's first tropical storm and the opening of The Midway on Freret Street. The storm came and went, however The Midway hasn't stopped churning. It's based on the idea that deep dish pizza and a great neighborhood bar would be a success among the unique tastes of New Orleanians." Midway Pizza is Uptown's only Deep Dish Pizza.

Krewe of the Rolling Elvi
Elvi!!

Krewe of the Rolling Elvi The Krewe of the Rolling Elvi was established in 2003. The Krewe pays homage to Mr. Elvis Aaron Presley in the most fitting way possible: on scooters during Mardi Gras.
All of our members dress up as various versions of The King, and, as with most royalty, we do not walk. We ride motorized scooters. We have a truck leading the way which has bathroom facilities (our “throne”) and we will be playing Elvis hits throughout the ride. Throws are the responsibility of each individual King and there will likely be space on the truck to store a small amount of throws if you choose to.
For the first time ever, DC the Kingly front-man of Clockwork Elvis will be belting out all of Elvis' hits Live, on his very own Rolling Elvi Throne Trailer...

    A charitable donation was made to Allan Kukral of one fine, Members Only jacket by Shannon Solomon. This is probably the first time anyone has been so very excited to find themselves in possession of a Members Only jacket.

    610 Stompers dance the Kingpin

    The Kingpin was proudly a stop on the 610 Stompers Pub Crawl yesterday. It was an amazing, high energy event. We had $1.00 Schlitz tall boys. The music was perfect and the dancing was impressive as is always the case with The 610 Stompers.
